ICT/BPO sector in Clark needs more workers to fill up vacancies this year

CLARK FREEPORT— The Information Communication Technology/Business Process Outsourcing (ICT/BPO) firms top the most sector in need to fill-up vacancies this year of the close to 2,000 job vacancies posted for the various firm inside this Freeport in the first two months of the year.

In a report by the Customer Services Department (CSD) to Clark Development Corporation President Felipe Antonio B. Remollo, of the

1,981 job openings of which 50.98 percent or 1,010 are ICT/BPO related-opening.

Among the possible ICT/BPO job vacancies include web designers and developers, programmers, technical support operators, Linux and Windows Systems administrators, English online teachers, and call center agents.

The CSD report said that there job openings available at Cyber City Teleservices, Inc., Sutherland Global Services, among others.

The Industrial sector or the garments & sewing industry are open to

308 workers as of February 29 comes in second in the most sector in Clark that have vacancies.The workers can submit their resumes and other related documents to CSD office, 2nd Floor of the Operations and Technical Services building.

Other notable sector inside Clark that has job openings are the industrial electronics and industrial manufacturing firms which are in need of 129 workers.

The industrial (electronics) picked up after a slowdown in the last quarter of 2012, along with other types of manufacturing such as Aderans, Creamline, Multi-tek, Outback, and RD Policapio.

While the tourism-related projects are down because of the lean season and vacation is yet to start.

Previously unranked aviation/aviation-related now hiring, along with some concessionaires firms because of the increasing number of employees working in the nighttime in Clark.

Other firms needed to fill up there vacancies are Texas Instruments in Clark, Nanox Phils., Inc., Phoenix Semiconductor Phils. Corporation, Poongsan Microtec Phils., Corporation, and SMK Electronics (Phils.) Corporation have several openings for this year.
