Fire razes warehouse; leaves P1.5M in damages

ANGELES CITY — Some P1.5-million worth of plastic products and other materials were destroyed during an early morning fire that gutted down a warehouse in Barangay San Nicolas here.
Police reports revealed that around 1:30 a.m. of Sunday, May 27, a fire erupted at a warehouse located beside Jimmy and Rose Plastic Dealer along Samatin St., corner Jesus St., of the said barangay.
The Angeles City Fire Station and responding lawmen led by Senior Inspector Roldan Gallano proceeded to the scene, while elements of the Angeles City Fire Protection and Bureau of Fire Protection headed by Superintendent Emmanuel Arrozal responded to manage the fire.
The blaze was declared under control around 3:30 a.m.
Elements of Angeles City Fire Department are still conducting further investigation to identify the origin of the fire.
