Pampanga town to get P5M from Capitol

SAN LUIS — Governor Lilia Pineda told local officials here Monday that the Provincial Government is set to provide an additional P5 million for the town’s infrastructure and farm-to-market roads.
“Atin kayu pung pasibayung P5 million mula king Kapitolyo,” Pineda told local elected officials here during the flag-raising ceremony.
The Provincial Government earlier provided P8 million to the Municipal Government for the construction of various barangay roads that is believed to lead to the continuing development in the localities.
Pineda has assured the people of San Luis of a “just share” from the earnings of the Provincial Government.
“Kalupa yuku pu, kaluguran kerin ing San Luis,” she said.
The governor, meanwhile, reminded the people to remain vigilant this coming rainy season, as this town was one of the heavily affected in the 4th district during last year’s Typhoon Pedring.
“Ali kupu sasabyan na lumipat na kayong balen. Ing kaku mupu magkusa na kayong lumipat king ligtas a lugar kapag minapo ya pasibayu ing Pampanga River. Manalakad tamu pung evacuation center para atin kayung puntalan pag limbug pasibayu,” Pineda added.
