ISDA officers robbed in CSF’s business district Victims: Suspects known to us

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Officials of the Integrated System for Development of Aqua-Culture (ISDA) in Pampanga lost at least P.5 million worth of computer gadgets and a handgun from suspected ‘Bukas-Kotse’ gang members while they were attending a birthday party here last week.

Atty. Gener Endona, general manager of Punto Central Luzon, said the suspects took advantage of the strong rains along Lazatin Blvd. in barangay Dolores on August 2 and forced open the doors and windows of the three vehicles owned by the victims.

They are ISDA officials Atty. MiguelitoPama,Willy Garcia and Milagros Lacap, wife of ISDA president Lito Lacap.

The victims were attending the party of aspiring city councilor Atty. Jeff Miranda in his Kambingan restaurant when their cars parked in front of the Simbillo Car Aircon Service and Talyer Ni Kikowere ransacked Thursday night.

“We suspect that we are victims of sabotage. The culprits are known to us and are against our group,” they said.

“How come the suspects chose to rob only the vehicles of three people who attended the party together and all of whom were officers of ISDA?” they added.

Other vehicles parked beside the victims’ cars were spared, including that of Endona who also attended the party.

Endona and the victims left the party at about 9:30 p.m. and Lacap first discovered that the left front window of her car was broken and the personal things of her driver-body guard, including a service gun, were missing,
Pama, on the other hand, discovered that his car’s window was also broken.

The gang took his attaché case containing his Macbook Pro computer and his son’s Ipad, along with some case folders.

Garcia, whose car was parked about 10 meters away from Lacap’s and Pama’s, said his folders containing important documents and checks were also taken.

LazatinBoulevard is part of the main business district of Pampanga’s capital city but the whole stretch of the boulevard is not lighted.

“The lack of proper lighting could have contributed to the proliferation of bad elements in the area.

There are no CCTV cameras installed and there is no police visibility. Police do not patrol the area regularly,” said the victims in a statement.

They reported the incident to the local police who has yet to issue statements as of press time.
