CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — Some 42 vegetable farmers here received “Nego Karts” from the Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) and the Butil Farmers Partylist as part of their “Gulayan sa Barangay” program in Pampanga. The carts are part of the 100 “Nego Karts” to be distributed to indigent beneficiaries as part of the efforts to uplift the living conditions of poor farmers in the province. “This is an initiative to assist the farmers to sell their produce and other by-products from their farms by providing them with greater mobility,” Butil Representative Agapito Guanlao said.
